The "Gothife Monnikke Letteren" is a writing style
used during the Middle Ages mainly in The
Netherlands, as we call that region today. At the
time, there seems to have been no lowercase in
use, so I created them. Small caps using this kind
of lettering are extremely difficult to decipher,
and original manuscripts, although splendid, are
close to unreadable to contemporary eyes. I hope
this revival, or rather, revisited version of this
kind of blackletter will please the eye of modern
readers.
