- Windows Vista a.k.a. Lomghorn (and OpenType Glyph Substitution technology)
Although
our fonts are meant for XP, here is a list of systems that support
our fonts. We strongly suggest, however, that you do make sure the
evakluation version works on your particular system, before considering
any purchase. We decline any responsibility if the fonts do not perform
well under these older, or partially incompatible systems.

We no longer provide any fonts for Macintosh systems prior to OS X in native mode.

If
for any reason you just ordered, and did not receive confirmation by
email, please report it by clicking below, and we will do all we can to
assist immediately. Most of the time, automated messages sent upon
purchase may have been misplaced on arrival by filters in spam or bulk
folders. You may want to look in there first. At any rate, we will make sure you get what you purchased. It is our interest to have satisfied customers.
All
customer service or technical support requests MUST be done in
writing by email. Please click here.
How long will it take for you to reply ?
In
general, during business hours, we do our best to reply as soon as
possible. Which means sometimes 5 minutes if we are working on email, a
few hours otherwise. If you do place an order out of business hours, on
a week-end or at night, please allow us time to resume work, and we
will do our utmost.
I am not sure I will be satisfied by your fonts. Do you offer refunds ?
Since 1987,
we have tried our best to satisfy our customers to the best of our
knowledge, and followed all technological evolution. This is why we
provide free tryout sample fonts for the majority of our typefaces. So
you can make sure it works for you BEFORE you pay. In case of problem
after purchase, we do stand behind our products and offer a 45 days
guarantee. By using Paypal, you also benefit from their guarantee.
Can you please call me back to assist in installation
The very
reason we provide free evaluation samples is for you to try before you
buy. Try it on before you buy, so you can see if it works on you.
Sorry,
no phone support is available. We do our best to reply ASAP and
personally by email. Please understand that hotline and call centers
have a heavy cost, our low prices cannot finance. Besides, we do need
to design fonts. If you cannot use Windows, please refer to your system
supplier, or their user manual. We provide letters and typography, and
in no way could repair your computer, right ?
Why should I go through PayPal ? I rather pay by phone with my credit card.
We stopped taking
payment over the telephone to avoid any fraud. In any store, we could ask for ID and be safe. Besides, think about it
: when you shout your credit card details to a call center at the other
end of the world over a wireless or cell phone, are you really sure
nobody is overhearing ?
The very
reason why we chose PayPal, is to avoid any security breach. As one of
the major payment processors on the Internet today, they are the most
trusted partner. When you pay through PayPal, we never know your credit
card details. This is much, much safer for both parties. For you, it is
as safe as an ATM from home (much better than the real thing), and for
us, there is no chance of error. Everybody is happy.
Ooops ! My PayPal primary address is obsolete, and your mail will be lost
Please let
us know your current address, name and product purchased, so we can
send you a copy of the download instructions. This is also valid if for
any reason your mail crashed, or something happened that distroyed your
precious files.
To change your PayPal primary address, log onto their site, enter your
new address (they have excellent guidelines), verify it, and voila.
My computer crashed, I have lost your fonts, password. Please help.
We keep good
records and can retrieve your download instructions for you later on.
But we cannot stress enough the need to keep software in a safe place
on CD. Save both the downloaded software and download instructions (for the password) immediately after purchase.
In case of need, Murphy's law will make it difficult, for instance on a
week-end, at night, who knows. Save your precious software NOW, would
it come from us or any other download publisher/retailer. Do not worry
excessively, though. If you suffered any loss, we will still do our
best to recover the data you acquired here. You will always get better
personal service from the author himself than from anonymous call
centers. Where are all these overinflated guys who tried to sell cars and kitchen sinks in cyberspace today ? Proof is in the pudding : we are small, but we are here and still following up on our early customers.
What insures me that you will deliver as promised ?
Our
Payment processor, PayPal, has a very strict procedure in case a vendor
does not deliver. Our system is set so as soon as you have completed
payment, you will be taken to the download area, where your computer
will fetch your purchase electronically. And at the same time, download
instructions will be sent to your current PayPal address as an added
measure of precaution. Last, but not least, we are a member of the
Association of Shareware Professionals, which provides arbitration if
needed though the ASP Ombudsman.

- 1 - DEFINITION
OF SHAREWARE
- Shareware
distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying
it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you
are expected to register. Individual programs differ on details
-- some request registration while others require it, some specify
a maximum trial period. With registration, you get anything from
the simple right to continue using the software to an updated
program with printed manual.
- Copyright
laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software, and the
copyright holder retains all rights, with a few specific exceptions
as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished programmers,
just like commercial authors, and the programs are of comparable
quality. (In both cases, there are good programs and bad ones!)
The main difference is in the method of distribution. The author
specifically grants the right to copy and distribute the software,
either to all and sundry or to a specific group. For example,
some authors require written permission before a commercial disk
vendor may copy their shareware.
- Shareware
is a distribution method, not a type of software. You should
find software that suits your needs and pocketbook, whether it's
commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes fitting your
needs easier, because you can try before you buy. And because
the overhead is low, prices are low also. Shareware has the ultimate
money-back guarantee -- if you don't use the product, you don't
pay for it.

- 2 - SUPPORT
- While we
do our best to make sure you enjoy our fonts to their fullest,
please remember that they are both technical, and artistic creations.
We will gladly provide support for technical questions. Requests
for artistic changes will be taken as suggestions, which implies
one should not expect aesthetic touches as part of a normal support.
Nevertheless, artistic point of views and suggestions are always
welcome, and appreciated.
- Before contacting
us, please make sure you have read the end of this document.
It has been written, based on questions asked very frequently,
by users who requested support. Finding the answer in this document
will save you time and aggravation.
- For practical
and financial reasons, we cannot provide phone technical support.
You may, however report any problem by email. We will usually
follow up within 24 hours (we try to reply as fast as possible),
by email.
Please try to be as specific as possible, in order to get appropriate
help. Remind us the name of the font you are using, on which platform
if you did decide to install on anything other than Windows XP (Mac OS
X, Windows 3.xx or 9.xx, Linux or OS/2), and the exact nature of the
problem. Depending on the complexity of the question, you will receive
a reply, usually within 24 hours.
- Reported
technical bugs will be fixed as rapidly as possible. However,
given the necessity for tests and verifications, it is impossible
to give standard time limit. In general, past experiences have
shown an average response in less than a week. When completed,
font updates will be sent to the customer who has reported the
bug by email.

- 3 - STANDARD
USER LICENSE
- The standard
user license granted upon regular purchase is for ONE (1) user.
However, the software can be installed on several computers,
as long as only the licensed user is using it. For instance,
fonts are frequently used on a desktop computer, and a laptop.
This license does not grant in any way the right to distribute
or sell the software.

- Multi-user
licenses are available. These license allow simultaneous usage
of the software on several computers. Please contact us for more information.

- LIMITED
WARRANTY
- Users of
the fonts or programs must accept this disclaimer of warranty:
"These fonts or programs are supplied "as is".
The author disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including,
without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and of
fitness for any purpose. The author assumes no liability for
damages, direct or consequential, which may result from the use
of these fonts."
- The fonts
delivered upon purchase are registered versions, and should under
no circumstance be passed around. They are reserved to your own
use, or the company who acquired them.
Evaluation versions are provided so users can test as they see
fit the fonts before purchase. If for any reason
the registered version of the font/program was provided to you
directly by fontmenu.com or Match Software on a defective media
(disk or archived electronic content), it will be exchanged for
a new one at no cost.
- If you have
suggestions for improving this font/program, we appreciate your
comments. It does not mean we will fix or modify the font in
the way you wish in a given time, or that we must do it in any
way. However, if we feel the suggestion is appropriate, next
version of the software may be inspired from this advice.
- We decline
any responsibility if for any reason this font/program is put
to bad use in any way. It worked fine on a regular configuration,
and on a regular printer, with the most usual software packages.
If, for any reason, it could not work on your specific configuration,
Match Software cannot be held responsible. As technical combinations
are almost infinite, and because systems evolve in ways we cannot
predict, it might happen a new system, or a particular configuration,
does not work with a font. For instance, because a new version
of the system requires a new font format. In general, we will
try to keep up with the system versions, and eventually offer
upgrades, if possible, but it does not constitute an obligation,
nor would it be the case if you acquired a set of seats cover
for your specific car, and require they fit any new car you may
decide to buy later on.

- 4 - ASP
OMBUDSMAN
- This program
is produced by a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals
(ASP). ASP wants to make sure that the shareware principle works
for you. If you are unable to resolve a shareware-related problem
with an ASP member by contacting the member directly, ASP may
be able to help. The ASP Ombudsman can help you resolve a dispute
or problem with an ASP member, but does not provide technical
