Dingbats, or pi fonts, are really fun to use. These small pictograms
have existed since typography was born. And, actually, lots of us have
used dingbats before we knew the word. Do you remember that game
containing rubber stamps, with which one would print bunnies, flowers,
and so on ? These were dingbats ! Rubber type, yes, but still... Our
dingbats do not require ink all over hands, and they wisely stay within
the computer, until summoned out through the printer. But they are
still a lot of fun !
