This hierogkyph font has no ambitions beyond helping you discover the
basics of ancient Egyptian writing system. All characters in that font
are authentic, and do correspond to sounds that are close to the keys
they are affected to. In other words, it creates a phonetic
transliteration of Roman words. For more complex studies of hieroglyph,
or for systems capable of displaying the more than 4000 glyphs, one may
want to study Alan Gardiner's book. But it may take a while.
