The Hexalist font is meant to show the whole ASCII character content in
Hex representation. It can be used to debug data stream, files, or
create a datascope.
With the ATM
PostScript Type 1 font, all characters from 00 to FF except 0D
(carriage return) are displayed. Windows 98 users must install Adobe
Type Manager (ATM) to be able to install that font. Windows 2000 and XP
do not need any additional software to install ATM fonts.
With the
TrueType font, only characters above space (20) can be displayed. Both
fonts are supplied.
These
typefaces are hinted and kerned, and suited for any kind of printing
work. They are most suited for engineering and debugging. A good
examlple of what the Hexalist font can be used for, is debugging of
display from form generators. Some programs may use invisible
characters difficult to spot with regular fonts, which will show
immediately with Hexalist.
